Welcome to the Kindergarten Perlenmeer webpage!

​The Perlenmeer family includes three small, fine, family kindergartens in the 13th, 14th and 18th districts of Vienna with places for children between 0 and 6 years old. In the 18th district is the Oase children's group (3-6 years) with a bilingual concept and vegetarian, home-cooked food.

The kindergartens in the 13th and 14th districts were saved from the threat of closure in 2021 by a committed parents' initiative, from which the Perlenmeer parents' association developed, which now operates the kindergartens as the new sponsoring association. This makes the Perlenmeer Kindergartens one of the few parent-managed kindergarten chains in Vienna! All parents whose children attend the Pearl Sea kindergartens are automatically members of the parents' association and can therefore actively help shape the kindergartens. Starting in March 2024, another Perlenmeer Family parent-rescued location will be added.

 

The Perlenmeer Parents' Association is a non-profit association; the kindergarten places are funded by the city of Vienna in order to guarantee all children a kindergarten place.
