Our new kindergarten group will be cared for by a lead teacher (group leader), a teacher, a teaching assistant and an English native speaker. We see each and every child entrusted to us, as well as each member of our staff, as valuable, unique and radiant in their very own way — just like a pearl. A respectful attitude and eye-level communication, not only with the children but also with parents/guardians and colleagues is just as important to us as catering to the children’s individual strengths and interests.

  • Implementation of our pedagogical concept

  • Collaboration on projects and active involvement in the running of the kindergarten

  • Planning, observation and assessment of the children’s learning

  • Working with parents to ensure effective delivery of the children’s education

What you will bring to our kindergarten:

  • Qualifications: You have completed your training in early-years education (BAfEP/BAKiP) OR you are currently undergoing training in early-years education AND have several years of relevant professional experience (e.g. as a kindergarten assistant)

  • Experience working in kindergarten groups would be an asset

  • Training in speech and language development would be an asset

  • Team spirit, commitment and a passion for working with children

  • Respectful and appreciative interaction with people of all ages

  • Very good knowledge of German (minimum C1 level) absolutely necessary; very good knowledge of English would be an asset

What you can expect from us:

  • A respectful and close-knit working environment with a higher-than-average staff/child ratio

  • Caring and interested parents

  • Creative freedom in planning and carrying out trips, events and special occasions

  • Focus on sensory and motor skills, additional programmes relating to English language and literacy

  • Spacious, welcoming premises with a private garden and crafting room

  • Organic, freshly cooked vegetarian meals for children and staff

  • Daily cleaning of the premises by external cleaning staff

  • IT and communications: group mobile phone, group e-mail address and KidsFox app

  • Permanent full-time or part-time position, performance-related pay covering preparation time during working hours

  • Contribution to further training-related expenses

  • Great accessibility by public transport; cost of Vienna city Jahreskarte covered by Perlenmeer
